The Romanian Razvan Lucescu, coach of the Greek runner-up PAOK Saloniki, has to pay 28,000 euros in an interview because of questionable statements. The news agency AFP reports.

Lucescu had complained after a point withdrawal against PAOK because of Fanausschreitungen in the past season. "Such a thing has happened in the history of sport, in the history of football, only in Hitler Germany," said the son of current Turkish national coach Mircea Lucescu the Internet portal www.fanatick.ro.

The point deduction meant that PAOK finished the season second behind AEK Athens. While the Athenians now play in a group with FC Bayern München in the Champions League, Lucescu's team must start in the Europa League. There they are after two matchdays in third place of the group L.
