The Düsseldorfer EG has won the open air spectacle of the German Ice Hockey League at the Kölner Haie during continuous rain. John Henrion decided the 222nd Rhenish derby in front of 47,000 spectators in the Cologne football stadium in 3: 2 (1: 0, 1: 0, 0: 2) in extra time.
