Bayern Munich is again leaders. With a 6-0 (3-0) home win against Mainz Bayern are on points (60) equal to Borussia Dortmund, who had won 3: 2 against Hertha BSC yesterday. Due to the better goal ratio, the Munich replace the BVB from the top.

Mainz remains in 13th place with 30 points. Bayern have now scored at least five goals in three consecutive league games - for the first time in club history.

The favorites lived up to their role. From the first minute Bayern put their guests under pressure and came so already in the initial phase to several degrees. Only David Alaba (2 minutes) tried it himself, but failed at Mainz goalkeeper Florian Müller. Shortly thereafter, the Austrian crossed to Robert Lewandowski, who promoted the ball with the outside of the short corner (3) - 1: 0 for the hosts.

Mainz rarely came over the midline. Finally, James Rodríguez provided for the second goal of the Munich after preliminary work by Leon Goretzka and Joshua Kimmich (33). Even before the break Coman increased to 3: 0 (39.). As referee Frank Willenborg kicked off the first round, Bayern were 72 percent possession and 13 to four shots.

James struck again five minutes after the restart. The Mainz defense left the Colombian in a half-right position too much space, so he could adjust the ball in peace, then with a worth seeing Schlenzer in the long corner to score his second goal (51.). A few minutes later, James made his first Bundesliga hat-trick perfect with a Lupfer after a Mainz loss on his own penalty area (55 ').
