Bayer Leverkusen and Fortuna Düsseldorf meet in the semi-finals of the DFB Cup. The second semi-final will be played by 1. FC Kaiserlautern against the winner of the game 1. FC Saarbrücken against Borussia Mönchengladbach. The matches will take place on April 2nd and 3rd.

The quarter-finals, which were canceled last week, will not be made up until March 12th (8:30 p.m.; TV: ZDF and Sky). Because the pitch in the Ludwigsparkstadion was under water, the encounter between the cup terrors from the 3rd league and the Bundesliga club on Wednesday evening was canceled at short notice.

The Saarlanders have been having problems with their turf for a long time, and the league game on Sunday against SpVgg Unterhaching will not take place as planned. Saarbrücken would have home advantage again in the cup semi-finals.

In the quarter-finals last Tuesday, Leverkusen prevailed in the Bundesliga duel against VfB Stuttgart with a goal in the 90th minute. At the end of January, Fortuna Düsseldorf won on penalties at FC St. Pauli, while Hertha BSC was eliminated against 1. FC Kaiserslautern.
