But there was no better placement in Madonna di Campiglio – in fact, Jakobsen was eliminated immediately.

"It didn't feel like he got into this 'nice' flow from the beginning. It felt a bit jerky," says expert Jessica Lindell Vikarby in Viaplay.

Last year, Jakobsen was eliminated in four out of ten World Cup races.

Swedish talent misses the final run

The Swedish great talent Fabian Ax Swartz did his second World Cup competition and got a good start, but it was not enough all the way. The 19-year-old ended up outside the top 30 and thus misses the final run.
