He also spoke warmly about his wife, brother, and parents.

"Life brings us difficult trials, but if you have close people with you, it makes sense to move on and live," Kostomarov added.

On January 10, the athlete with pneumonia was admitted to intensive care. Due to the necrosis that developed, he underwent several amputations of his arms and legs. In early July, the figure skater was discharged from the hospital.

On December 11, Kostomarov posted a video from a skating session on the ice.

Earlier it was reported that Kostomarov performed in the show on skates for the first time after amputation.
