The International Federation of Football Association (FIFA) has revealed the system of the new annual club tournament, which will be held starting next year 2024.
FIFA indicated in a statement on its official website that the tournament will be named FIFA Intercontinental Cup for clubs, and it will be held with the participation of the winning clubs of the Champions League title in six continents of the world.

FIFA explained that the tournament will be held in two stages, the first with a match at the stadium of the winning team of the AFC Champions League or the African Champions League alternately against the champions of the continent of Oceania.
In the second track, the North American champions play at home against the South American champions, alternating annually.
The date of these matches will be determined later after coordination with clubs and confederations.
The winners of the first and second tracks qualify in a play-off at a neutral stadium on 14 December 2024.
The European champions await the winner of all these encounters in a final match to be held at the same neutral stadium on December 18, 2024.
