Lance defeated Sevilla 2-1 in the Champions League (French)
French Lens snatched a victory in the fatal time of its guest Sevilla at the end of the group stage of the Group B competitions, and in the same group Arsenal drew 1-1 with host Eindhoven.
The French side needed to avoid defeat against the Andalusian side to ensure their participation in the second most important competition, but they came out victorious.
