After the first round in Geneva, von Eckermann and King Edwards were flawless and second fastest. That meant he was second-to-last out in the second round and had a chance of victory.

In the second round, there was a knockdown and that meant that the chance of victory disappeared.

"It is what it is. It's still okay," says von Eckermann.

– Even the best can do that, says SVT Sport's expert Lotta Björe.

The victory went to home star Steve Guerdat who took his third victory in the Top 10 finals. Third place went to American Kent Farrington.

"It was unbelievable to win this special class for the third time," said Guerdat.

It was the third time that von Eckermann came second in this competition.

The Top 10 Final is a competition where the top ten in the world rankings meet.
