Sweden won the team match 8-4 (counting sets) in the second round of the first edition of the Mixed Team World Cup.

"It's very nice to play in a hall with a lot of screaming people, it's a lot of fun. And Chengdu has been a fantastic place so far," Linda Bergström told the International Table Tennis Federation after yesterday's 8-0 win against Hong Kong.

After two games in the second round, Sweden is the fourth and best European team after China, Japan and South Korea.

Sweden is followed by: Germany, Slovakia, France and Taiwan.

Tomorrow, Sweden will face Japan at 05:00 and South Korea at 10:00.

A total of SEK 8.8 million will be awarded in prize money.
