The match started in an exciting fashion as Son Heung-min put Tottenham in front in the sixth minute before scoring at the other end of the pitch 3 minutes later after a cross from his thigh bounced towards his team's net.

Giovanni Lo Celso scored Tottenham's second goal from a meticulous finish in the 69th minute to make it 2-2, but Tottenham's risk-taking style cost them dearly as a mistake by the visitors allowed Grealish to put the hosts back in front.
