The best possible start to the season for Moa Ilar has resulted in a week filled with congratulations and cheers from all possible directions.
"It's been mostly strange. That so many are so happy for you, she says to SVT Sport.
Has it surprised you?
"Yes, but a little, that there are so many. That so many people get in touch and congratulate and tell us that they have broken a sofa or some other piece of furniture. It's been a lot of fun," says Ilar.
However, the fact that the form is on top is nothing that is surprising to Ilar himself.
"I've felt during the training season that I've taken steps. If you get closer to the others in the Swedish team, you know that you are getting closer to the podium even at the World Cup. And that has given me self-confidence as well," she says.
