FC Barcelona, led by national football players İlkay Gündoğan and Marc-André ter Stegen, is in the round of 2 of the Champions League. Without the injured national goalkeeper, the Catalans won 1-<> against FC Porto on Tuesday evening.

João Cancelo (32') and João Felix (57') turned the game around for Barcelona after Pepe had given FC Porto the lead (30').

Atletico Madrid are also sure to be in the knockout stages. The Spaniards picked up a 3-1 (1-0) win at Feyenoord Rotterdam and go into the final matchday of Group E as the league leaders. Behind Manchester City and RB Leipzig, Young Boys Bern completed the continuation of their European Cup journey in the Europa League. The 2-0 win over Red Star Belgrade after an own goal from Kosta Nedeljković (8') and Lewin Blum's goal (29') secured third place in Group G for the Swiss ahead of their final clash with RB Leipzig on 13 December. The Serbs have been eliminated.
