Listen to Amanda Ilestedt describe her successful year in the player above.

A feeling in her thigh caused Amanda Ilestedt to miss the Nations League match against Italy. But now the Swedish centre-back is back, also as a new goalscorer for Arsenal.

The goal came in stoppage time and meant 2-1 in the League Cup clash with Southampton.

"It was a lot of fun, and fun to score the first goal for Arsenal and that we won," says Ilestedt, who became Sweden's top scorer in the World Cup with four goals.

Next up are the final matches of the Nations League, against Switzerland 1/12 and Spain 5/12. Sweden must win both games to still have a chance of reaching the Olympics. In addition, Italy will have to beat Spain.

"We're going to focus on winning these games that are left. And of course you hope for all the help you can get from Italy. But the focus is on what we can influence," says Ilestedt.
