The 2–0 win against Estonia in the European Championship qualifiers was Janne Andersson's last. This was already clear when Sweden misses out on the European Championship finals.

But it is not clear who will succeed Andersson after seven years in the post. In Viaplay's broadcast, the Swedish Football Association's Secretary General Andrea Möllerberg confirmed that the process is underway and is expected to be completed in the early first quarter of 2024.

Key player Dejan Kulusevski says that some of the players have been involved in the recruitment.

"We help each other. It's everyone's responsibility to make sure it's good," says Kulusevski.

SVT's expert Daniel Nannskog clearly calls for Sweden in the future.

"There has been a lack of joy to play lately," says Nannskog.
