There will be no season premiere in Beitostölen for Ingvild Flugstad Östberg.

The Norwegian was stopped because she did not get an approved health certificate.

"I set high standards for myself and am constantly looking for development to be able to fight for the best placements and medals, while at the same time taking care of my own health. I have put in a tremendous amount of work, with good support around me, but today unfortunately not all parameters are good enough to get an approved health certificate.

"The balance between exercise and diet has not been good enough," Östberg said in a statement.

The 33-year-old has been stopped several times in the past because she did not meet the national team's health requirements.

SVT broadcasts the Swedish premiere in cross-country skiing – see the Winter Studio starting on Friday.
