Women's wrestling player Akari Fujinami, who has been selected to represent Japan at next year's Paris Olympics, attended the World Championships debriefing session held in her hometown of Yokkaichi City, Mie Prefecture, and expressed her enthusiasm for the event, saying, "I want to enjoy the journey to the competition and achieve the best results."

Fujinami won the World Championships held in Serbia in September, was selected to represent Japan at next year's Paris Olympics, and extended his winning streak of official matches to 9 in subsequent tournaments, which he has continued since his second year of junior high school.

On the evening of the 2th, a debriefing session was held at a local hotel in Yokkaichi City, where more than 130 people, including supporters and friends from junior high and high school, gathered, and Fujinami was greeted with loud applause when he appeared at the venue.

At the debriefing session, Fujinami said, "My dream is to win the Paris Olympics next year, so I would be happy if you could support me," and enjoyed a fleeting moment by taking a commemorative photo with the people who had gathered.

In addition, there was a scene in which he carried his father, Shunichi, who is a coach, on his shoulders, and he said, "It was heavier than I expected," which caused laughter from the audience.

Looking ahead to next year's Paris Olympics, Fujinami said, "I want to enjoy the road to the Olympics and achieve the best results, and I want to see the best scenery with the people who support me."

On the 11th, she celebrated her 1th birthday, saying, "I want to be a strong, educated woman with a wide range as a woman, and I want to have the best year of my life so far."
