The season has started well for Sara Hector, who has been fourth and fifth so far in the World Cup this season. In today's slalom in Levi, Finland, she continued to show great form.

Hector, who went out in third, kept pace with Mikaela Shiffrin who was in the lead at the time. She was ahead of Shiffrin at the final intermediate time but finished slightly weaker than the American and was 0.08 behind at the finish.

Only Petra Vhlova, who was superior yesterday, went faster than Hector and Shiffrin. The Slovakian leads going into the second run – 0.76 ahead of Shiffrin and 0.84 ahead of Hector.

For Anna Swenn Larsson, things continue to go hard. Yesterday she finished 19th and today she is 27th after the first run. She is a full 3.08 behind Vhlova. The second best Swede is Cornelia Öhlund who is 22nd.
