What has been agreed for more than a year is now official. Real Madrid announced today the renewal of Vinicius Júnior until 2027, an open secret in the White House. After scoring the goal that gave Madrid the Champions League in the 21-22 season, the player's agents and the Merengue board reached an agreement to extend the striker's contract, improve his salary and raise his release clause.
Vinicius is now one of the highest-paid players in Madrid's dressing room, which is logical given his sporting performance in recent years. He will earn around €10 million, placing him in the first step of the squad alongside Kroos, Alaba, Modric and Bellingham. In addition, it improves its armor to 1,000 million of release clause after the interest of Premier League clubs and PSG in recent months.
