Rasmus Dahlin's Buffalo Sabres lost to the New Jersey Devils 5-4 and many Swedes were on the scoresheet.

The teams followed each other and both Alexander Holtz and Jesper Bratt equalized for the home team New Jersey.

New Jersey then led 3-2 when Rasmus Dahlin got the chance and slammed in a hard slap shot. The first goal of the season for the Swedish star defender.

"I looked down and shot as hard as I could, it felt good. It's always nice to get the first goal," he told Expressen.

Dahlin has now scored in seven straight games. No Buffalo defenseman has done that since Phil Housley in 1990, who scored 14 consecutive games.

Dahlin has eight points (1+7) in eight games this season.

Finn Erik Haula scored his second goal of the evening to make it 5-4.
