The derby didn't offer many hot scoring chances. In the first half, Djurgarden called for a penalty after the ball seemingly hit Nahir Besara's hand.

However, the judge chose to acquit. Lucas Bergvall got an excellent opportunity to give Djurgården the lead after an approach from Samuel Dahl, but Bergvall's shot was saved by Oliver Dovin in Hammarby's goal.

A few minutes later, 17-year-old Bergvall got another good opportunity on a corner, but the midfielder's header went wide.

Hammarby raised their game in the second half, but the green-whites had a hard time getting into sharp situations.

The game ended 0–0, which means that table four Djurgården retains the lead of six points down to sixth-placed Hammarby.
