Manchester City went for a heroic victory with two players fewer than visiting Chelsea. But in the 95th minute, the London team managed to equalize to 1-1.

Chloe Kelly put Manchester City ahead early in the first half, but the controversial red card came after just 38 minutes.

Star Alex Greenwood took some time to take a free-kick and received his second yellow for masking. The City players didn't understand anything and they were also supported by BBC pundit Rachel Brown-Finnis.

"It's ridiculous. She didn't even try to play time, she's waiting for her teammates to go higher up the field. It was a matter of seconds. A very bad decision," she says.

In the 81st minute, Lauren Hemp pulled down an opponent and then she had to leave the field as well.

Despite that, they almost took three points, but in stoppage time, Guro Reiten scored the equalizer.

Manchester City and Chelsea now both have a win and a draw at the start of the season.
