RC Lens, last in Ligue 1 after five rounds, resisted well to Sevilla FC (1-1) in Spain, Wednesday, September 20, on the first day of the Champions League (Group B).
Sevilla FC, winners of the Europa League for the seventh time in their history last season, opened the scoring through Lucas Ocampos, with a header that lobbed Brice Samba (9th). Lens, who will host Arsenal on October 3, equalised through Angelo Fulgini (24th) on a free kick whistled for a foul by Sergio Ramos on Elye Wahi.
