Left-back Martin Olsson started for Sweden in the European Championship qualifying loss away to Austria in June. But he was not included in the selected squad for this national team, but only joined when Ludwig Augustinsson was forced to withdraw.

When you were selected, many people said: Martin Olsson has not played much in Malmö and has passed 35. What do you say about the comments that come?

"I don't read comments. But you hear it. Then people can talk, but I come here and perform. I don't have to play a match, Janne knows he can trust me. If I come here, I do my thing, and then I go home. If I hadn't felt like I'm performing here, I wouldn't be here. But in the real world, not social media, I perform," says Martin Olsson.

Olsson pays tribute to Sema

Away against Estonia on Saturday, Ken Sema got the chance at Olsson's position, he was praised afterwards by both Janne Andersson and expert Daniel Nannskog. And Martin Olsson is happy for his national teammate.

"He's a good guy. He has been around for a long time and has not reached his potential, but he got it yesterday. It must have been mentally nice for him that it came off in the national team. I hope he gets more chances.

Sweden will face Austria in the European Championship qualifiers on Tuesday, kick-off at 20.45.
