The European Championship premiere cleaned up Sweden's ladies in a simple way. Stina Källberg won the first match against Konstantina Paridi with 3–2 in sets.

"It feels great. It was a difficult match at times and there were a lot of nerves. I didn't quite get my game right, but I'm really proud that I managed to win it," Källberg told SVT Sport.

"She dominates"

Linda Bergström then continued on her path and won her match against Aikaterini Toliou 3–1 in sets. Filippa Bergand then took home the Swedish victory, when she won her match 3–0.

– She completely dominates this match, says SVT Sports commentator Chris Härenstam.

Thus, Sweden picks up two points in the group stage. The next game awaits against Spain tomorrow, at 16:00.

The men's first match against Italy will be played tonight, with broadcast start at 19:00 on SVT2 and Play.
