Coach MORIYASU Hajime of the Japan National Soccer Team held a press conference ahead of the training match against Germany, and expressed his aspiration, "We want to play a match that will lead to further growth."

The Japan National Football Team will travel to Europe in September, and on 9 September Japan, they will face Germany, who came from behind to win in the first round of last year's World Cup, and Turkey on 10 September.

One day before their match against Germany, the team held an official training session at the match venue.

In this tour, players who have played in the World Cup, such as MITOMA Kaoru, who plays for Brighton in the English Premier League, KUBO Takefusa of the Spanish First Division, Real Sociedad, German First Division, and DOAN Ritsu of Freiburg, participated in this tour, and prepared for the match by passing the ball around and making light adjustments.

At the press conference, coach Moriyasu said, "We were able to beat Germany in the World Cup, and we were able to feel the development of Japan's football and gain confidence, but we still have a long way to go."

On top of that, he shared his aspiration, "We will increase the number of times we can play from good defence to good attacks, increase the number of chances we can create, and intentionally steal more in defence, and play matches that will lead to further growth."

The training match between Japan and Germany will be held at 1:12 a.m. on the 1th, Japan time, and will be broadcast on Sogo TV and NHK Plus.
