Hangzhou, 9 Sep (ZXS) -- The launching ceremony of the Hangzhou Asian Games torch relay was held in Hangzhou on 8 September.
The launching ceremony was held in Hangzhou West Lake Yongjin Park Square, and the torch relay was carried out along Nanshan Road-Hubin Road-Huancheng West Road-Beishan Street-Xiling Bridge-Gushan Road in Hangzhou downtown, and the torch relay ceremony was held in Pinghu Autumn Moon.

A total of 106 torchbearers participated on the first day of the relay. The first was Luo Xuejuan, the women's breaststroke world champion and Olympic champion from Hangzhou, and the last was female shooter Yang Qian, who won the first gold medal for the Chinese sports delegation at the Tokyo Olympics.
Luo Xuejuan said in an interview: "As the first torchbearer, I am very honored and proud, I have run through the scenery that I have been very familiar with since childhood, and I feel very wonderful and enjoy it very much." I hope that athletes from all over Asia can feel the enthusiasm of Hangzhou and Zhejiang during the competition. ”
After the first day of the Hangzhou Asian Games torch relay, it will be relayed in Huzhou, Jiaxing, Shaoxing, Ningbo, Zhoushan, Taizhou, Wenzhou, Lishui, Jinhua and Quzhou in Zhejiang Province, and returned to Hangzhou on September 9 and completed the last relay, with more than 20,2000 torchbearers participating in the whole relay process.
