23-year-old Ludvig Åberg, previously ranked as the world's best amateur, has impressed greatly since turning pro earlier this year. But so far he has not won.

Now, however, Åberg has an excellent chance. He had a strong third lap at the European Masters in Switzerland and is tied for second place ahead of the decider.

The Swedish star went four under par, is 13 under overall, and two strokes behind leader Matthew Fitzpatrick. In second place is also the in-form Swede Alexander Björk.

This week's competition is the last before the selection of the European Ryder Cup team. Both Åberg and Björk have the chance to get a wildcard spot in the team.
