Gymnastics superstar Simone Biles, a four-time Olympic champion, returned to competition on Saturday by winning the US Classic trophy, her first competition since the Tokyo Olympics in 2021.

Biles, 26, overcame a collection of important rivals with a fabulous performance in which she scored a total of 59.100 points in the uneven bars, balance beam, floor exercise and vault events.

The American, who took her long break to take care of her mental health after the problems suffered in Tokyo, wore a smile from beginning to end of the event at the NOW Arena of Hoffman Estates, outside Chicago (Illinois), where it was celebrated by the 11,000 fans who filled the stands
