Mustafa Mohamed spent the season on loan to Nantes from Galatasaray, before the French team decided, today, to activate the purchase clause in the player's contract permanently.

With this defeat, Guinea, who suffered their second loss in the group, against 3 wins, stopped at 9 points in second place in the group standings.

Malawi and Ethiopia are level with three points each ahead of Tuesday's clash in the penultimate round.

This is Egypt's second consecutive victory over Guinea, after the Pharaohs beat the Pharaohs 1-<> over the National Elephants in the opening matches of the two teams in the group in June last year.

It is noteworthy that the match was held at the Grand Stadium of Marrakech in Morocco, due to the non-conformity of the Guinea national team stadium with the conditions and specifications of the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
