Arsenal express interest in Havertz

According to media reports, the German international Kai Havertz of Chelsea FC, who is allegedly courted by Real Madrid, is also on the wish list of Chelsea's league rivals Arsenal FC. According to information from »The Athletic«, the Gunners, who played for the English championship for a long time last season, have already informed the Blues of their interest in Havertz.

At Real, on the other hand, Havertz could replace Frenchman Karim Benzema, who is leaving the club. However, Tottenham Hotspur's Harry Kane and Paris Saint-Germain's Kylian Mbappé are also considered candidates. According to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, Havertz could also imagine a move to Arsenal.

Havertz's contract at Stamford Bridge runs until the summer of 2025. However, Chelsea officials are keen to reduce their squad and are therefore reportedly willing to give up Havertz early after three years. According to the Guardian, the Blues are demanding the equivalent of more than £80 million for the attacker.

Does Gravenberch want to leave Bayern?

Midfielder Ryan Gravenberch was hailed as a top European talent when he joined Bayern Munich from Ajax in the summer of 2022. However, his debut season with the German record champions was mediocre. The 21-year-old Dutchman did not play for Julian Nagelsmann or his successor Thomas Tuchel.

"I just want to play more, preferably at Bayern Munich. And otherwise at a club where I play 100 percent," he told De Telegraaf. Most recently, Gravenberch had been linked with Liverpool FC.

Milner goes from Liverpool to Brighton

Former England international James Milner joins Brighton & Hove Albion from Liverpool FC in the Premier League. This was announced by both clubs. The 37-year-old midfielder signed a one-year contract with an option for another at Brighton. At the Seagulls, he will face his former Liverpool teammate Adam Lallana.

Milner had come to Anfield in the summer of 2015 - a few months before coach Jürgen Klopp. In eight years, he won several trophies with the Reds, including the English Championship, FA Cup, Champions League and Club World Cup. With 617 Premier League appearances, he is the third-most capped player behind Gareth Barry (653) and Ryan Giggs (632). He ended his career with the national team in 2016.
