21-year-old Anthony Elanga has struggled to get game time at his club club Manchester United this season. But despite that, the Swede is happy with the season.

"Very good season at the club, we finished in the top four and secured the Champions League. But definitely I wanted to play more but it's not up to me, it's the coach who chooses the best team, what I can do is just focus and be ready. When the opportunity to play comes, I have to be ready," he told SVT Sport.

Do you want to continue at Manchester United?

"For me, it's just important to focus on what I can do here with the national team, then what happens after that, we'll see.

Elanga has been rumoured to be on his way to several big clubs and according to German Sky, Emil Forsberg's RB Leipzig is one of the clubs looking to link up with the Swede. During yesterday's press conference with the national team, Emil Forsberg revealed that he is trying to sign his international – something that makes Elanga happy.

"It's nice to get praise from a player like him. I know Emil off the pitch as well so it's very nice to hear him say that, but right now I'm focused and want to show what I can do.

Sweden will face New Zealand in a training match on Friday 19.00 at Friends Arena.
