In 1995 Hammarby won the Swedish Cup. It was the team's last title but now the long wait is over. And this is thanks to Madelen Janogy.

She gave Bajen the lead in the final against Häcken just a few minutes into the second half. It gave both the green-and-white players and the crowd new energy, and it wasn't long before Janogy scored his second of the day. Then it was in the form of a class goal when she screwed the ball into the far corner.

It definitely felt decided after Maika Hamano sat 3-0, which was also the final score of the match. This means that Hammarby's first title in 28 years is secured in front of 17,623 spectators, which is the best attendance ever in the Swedish Cup on the women's side.

"A lot of emotions. I am so damn proud of the players and that we have made it here, says coach Pablo Piñones-Arce to SVT Sport after the final whistle.
