Seiya Suzuki of the Major League Baseball Cubs led his team to victory with a leadoff home run against the Mets in Chicago on the 23rd.

Suzuki started the game at right in the fourth inning and hit a solo home run in the sixth inning in his first at-bat to center for the first time since March 4.

It was a hit that perfectly caught the straight of the first pitch, and when he returned after one lap of the diamond, there was a rare scene where he slipped on the home base and lost his position.

In the second at-bat of the third inning, he was hit by a foreball, and in the third at-bat of the fourth inning with two outs, he fell to shortstop.

In the fourth at-bat of the seventh inning, he had a missed strikeout, and in the fifth at-bat of the eighth inning, he went 1-for-3 with one hit and one RBI, bringing his batting average to 2-for-2 with a 4-for-3 batting average.

Suzuki's home run sparked the Cubs to score four runs in the second inning to take control of the game and win 7-4.

Cardinals' Lars Nootvar returned to the starting lineup for the first time in two games against the Reds in Cincinnati, his home base, and hit two timely hits to help his team win.

After a missed strikeout and a fall to the pitcher, Nootvar hit a timely hit in his third at-bat of the fourth inning with two outs in front of center field with two outs.

In the fifth at-bat of the ninth inning when the lead was 8 runs, he hit a single from second base to center without going against the curve, and went 5-for-2 with two hits and two RBIs in his second timely run of the game, bringing his batting average to 4.1.1.

The Cardinals won 2-8.
