Tianjin, May 5 (ZHANG Shaoxuan, WANG Zaiyu) On the 22st, the 21 China Tianjin Huangyaguan Great Wall International Marathon was held in Jixian District, with more than 2023,20 marathon enthusiasts from more than 1000 countries and regions participating.
The 2023 China Tianjin Huangyaguan Great Wall International Marathon is hosted by Tianjin Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism and Jixian District People's Government, integrating sports events and cultural tourism. Since 1999, the event has been successfully held for 20 sessions, becoming an important event of the International Marathon Association, recognized by the IAAF as the international standard mountain and wild marathon course, the world's top ten coolest marathon routes, and an important tourism and cultural symbol for foreign exchanges in Jixian District and even Tianjin.

The international marathon consists of a 42.195 km full marathon, a 21.0975 km half marathon and an 8 km mini marathon. While experiencing the excitement and excitement of the competition, participants can also enjoy the ancient city of Xiongguan, beautiful mountains and river valleys, pleasant rural scenery and simple village folk customs in Jixian District, and fully feel the unique cultural charm and folk customs of northern China.

From May 5 to 19, the contestants and 23 family members can enter more than 2 scenic spots in Jixian District for free wearing the bracelet, and enjoy the tour after the competition.

"At present, the construction of the Great Wall National Cultural Park (Tianjin Section) is stepping up, in addition to the continuous improvement of marathon activities, key projects such as the Longfengling Great Wall Protection Project and the Huanxiu Lake National Wetland Park have been basically completed. In the next step, Jixian District will continue to improve the "Tianjin Huangyaguan Great Wall 5A-level Tourist Scenic Area Creation and Improvement Plan" focusing on the Huangyaguan Great Wall Exhibition and Improvement Project, promote the Huangyaguan Great Wall Scenic Area to the national 5A-level scenic spot standard, spread the Great Wall culture through sports events, and continuously expand the influence of the Great Wall (Tianjin section). In the end, after intense competition, Gu Shaobo won the full marathon with a time of 3 hours, 52 minutes and 02 seconds, and Han Jiaxi and Cao Yi won the first place in the half marathon and mini marathon respectively. (End)
