Juventus Turin received a new penalty of 10 points on Monday, after a downward revision of the initial penalty of 15 points for accounting fraud, which complicates its chances of playing in the next Champions League.

This new penalty, pronounced Monday by the Court of Appeal of the Italian Football Federation, drops Juventus from 2nd to 6th or 7th place in the Serie A standings, five points from the last qualifying place for the Champions League occupied by AC Milan (4th), before the Bianconeri match in the evening at Empoli.
