Modo scored 1-0 in the second period and it was prompted by a situation in Djurgården's zone where Linus Klasen and Modo's Josef Ingman collided. Djurgården called for a penalty, but nothing came of it and instead Erik Inesjö Karlsson scored.

Nicklas Danielsson has tried to find out why.

"I asked if Klasen fell by himself, but I didn't get an answer so I don't know," he says.

Klasen himself felt that it should have been an expulsion.

"I haven't had time to see the situation afterwards, but I get a blow to the head and don't have time to protect myself. Unfortunate. I don't have the puck, and then you're probably not tackleable if you're going to go according to the rule book," he says.

Modo tied the match at 2-1 in extra time and now leads the final series 2-1 in games. Whoever wins the final goes up to SHL. The next game is on Sunday, also at Hovet.

SVT Sport has sought HockeyAllsvenskan's referee base Björn Wettergren.
