The China Basketball Open is a mass basketball event platform guided by the Chinese Basketball Association, organized by local municipal basketball associations, and participated by the majority of basketball fans in China, aiming to further promote the development of Chinese basketball and accelerate the popularization of basketball culture in China.

The reporter learned from the organizers that the qualifiers had been held in 64 cities across the country. The round of 16 will be determined to enter the national finals. The regional round is divided into two stages, the group stage and the qualifying stage, and the participating teams will compete in six days of competition to determine the round of 6.

The participating teams were grouped by drawing of lots before the match. The opening day was the first matchday of the regional competition, with Houma vs Hanseong in the opening match. As the hosts, Houma won 99:68 to the cheers of the fans. Defending champions Shanxi An Yi Coal Industry also made their debut, defeating Mengzhou comfortably 106:80.

In another match of the day, Yingkou and Daqing tied 91 in regular time, and the game went into extra time. In overtime, both teams gave their best. The final score was fixed at 101:100, and the Yingkou team narrowly won by a narrow margin. (End)
