Jämtland won the final period with a crushing 24-6, a surprising development.

"It was the knife to the throat. We "executed" both backwards and forwards and it got much better after we adjusted some things, says Jämtland's Pierre Hampton to SVT Sport, who has already been elected both defender of the year and forward of the year in Swedish basketball.

"It's hard to take in because there's so much focus on getting to the final, but I'm happy and grateful," Hampton said.

"A buffet by accident"

It looked as if Norrköping tied the game in the third period as they chased both catch up and pass. But in the fourth period, Jämtland ran away. It was the game of the rough misses and the shooting was lousy for long periods.

"It's a buffet of mistakes," exclaimed pundit Nick Rajacic after the third period.

Norrköping has match ball number two at home on Friday.

"We lost the last six minutes. They get a relatively good run there at the end that put us on our heels," says Norrköping's Tim Schüberg.

The players in Borås can pop popcorn and wait for their final opponent after winning their semi-final series against Umeå with 4-0.
