In professional baseball, the official games of the two teams are currently divided into seven teams in the Eastern League and five teams in the Western League, but with the aim of broadening the baseball baseball, we are calling for new teams to participate in the games of the two teams.
On the 2th, a briefing session was held behind closed doors in Tokyo for companies wishing to participate, and according to the NPB, several companies in attendance, including independent league management companies, explained for about one hour the purpose of recruiting new teams, as well as the procedures and requirements for future screening.

NPB will hold a similar briefing on May 7.
For companies that attended the briefing, the public application will be accepted from May 5, and applications will be accepted until the end of July for baseball teams that wish to participate next year, and
until the end of
August for teams that wish to participate next year.
Professional baseball is planning to increase the number of teams participating in official games between the two teams based on two baseball teams in order to expand the baseball base.
New clubs
that wish to participate will
be screened on management aspects such as income and expenditure plans, game management aspects such as securing stadiums, and organization and development aspects such as securing players,
managers and coaches.
The review is conducted by the NPB = Japan Baseball Organization and an executive committee of 2 clubs, and if approved, it is finally consulted by the Owners Meeting to decide whether to participate.
In addition, in order to participate, it is necessary to pay the specified subscription fee and participation deposit to NPB, including tens of millions of yen.
In addition, in order to enter the market, it is necessary to meet various conditions, for example, the home stadium cannot be located in the prefecture where the 2 baseball teams are currently based, and it is also required to secure an indoor practice field around the home stadium.
Players
who can be added to the team are players who have not been selected in the professional baseball draft, players who
have previously played for 12 professional baseball teams, and
foreign players.
And in order for a player who has never played professional baseball before to join the 12 teams, they need to be selected in the draft, just like in independent leagues.
As for the other players, the number of players will be limited, and they will be able to transfer to 12 clubs during the season.
In the future, for companies that have accepted applications for participation, the first screening will be conducted mainly in writing by September,

the second screening after that will be
conducted until
