Les Bleus head into Ireland full of confidence for their second match in Euro 2024 qualifying. Three after their demonstration against the Netherlands at the Stade de France (4-0), Didier Deschamps' men could once again mark the spirits against the technically inferior Irish on paper. The last confrontation, in 2018, ended in an easy victory of the France in a friendly match (2-0) thanks to a goal from Olivier Giroud, current top scorer in the history of the Blues, and Nabil Fekir.
