The home team took the lead in the first half through 26-year-old Philip Billing.

Liverpool then pushed for an equalizer but failed to break the deadlock.

Salah burned penalty

In the second half, the big club had a great chance to equalize from the penalty spot.

But Mohamed Salah was responsible for a horrible hit and missed the target completely.

Bournemouth then fought back and took a crushing victory.

Liverpool are fifth in the Premier League table, three points behind Tottenham.
