The Umeå team has been on safe ground for almost the entire season and had managed to stay at one point today.
Dalen led 2-0 in the first period but lost the game.
- We didn't get it together as well as we had thought, not the way we felt we should have been able to get it together, says Urban Karlsson, club director in Dalen, on Expressen's TV broadcast.
Now Dalen must return to the drawing board and sketch a comeback plan.
- It wasn't enough.
We have to go home and evaluate it later and come back next season, says Karlsson.
The goal is to go back to the super league as quickly as possible.
