This weekend marks the start of this year's Indycar series.

Both Swedes Marcus Ericsson and Felix Rosenqvist started in Florida.

Ericsson opened impressively and was fourth in the qualifier.

- A fantastic start.

We have worked hard this winter and to come here and make one of my best qualifiers in my career is incredibly nice, he says.

Ericsson thus gets to start in tier two during Sunday's decider.

Rosenqvist finished eighth in the qualifier and gets to start in fourth.

- It was awfully tight.

I'm pretty happy though.

It must be one of the tightest qualifiers we've had, he says.

Romain Grosjean, France, is in pole position.

The competitions are broadcast in Viaplay.
