The French star, who has Guinean origins and whose parents are Muslims, usually publishes pictures of him performing Umrah, Hajj rituals, and congratulations on the advent of Ramadan, Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha.
Early last year, Paul Pogba chose to delete a picture of him in front of the Holy Kaaba after an attack and offensive criticism from some fans.
And he published, on his Instagram account, a picture of him in front of the Kaaba during the rituals of Umrah, and attached it to a supplication, "O God, guide us to the right path, O God, accept our good deeds, O God, You are the Forgiving, so forgive us, Amen.
