Stark was at the top in all four rounds when the LPGA tour season has now kicked off in earnest with the competition in Thailand.

The Swede was well-versed in the fourth and final round, but the American Lilia Vu had an incomparable final round and won the competition a total of 22 strokes under par – five strokes better than Stark, who was tied for fourth together with the Frenchman Celina Boutier.

Vu went around at eight strokes under par in the final round, Stark at three.

The golf year has thus started excellently for the Swede who, in addition to fourth place in Thailand, also came second in the Tournament of Champions and won the European Tour competition in Morocco.

Anna Nordqvist was the second best Swede in Thailand, tied for tenth place, on 15 strokes under par.
