Louise Hansson has just returned from a two-week training camp in South Africa.

This weekend sees a training event in Switzerland, her first event since impressive performances in Luxembourg at the end of January where she won everything she entered.

- It will be fun to get started and drive a long course and see how I am after the camp.

I have been in a heavy training period so my body feels quite heavy and tired.

It will be interesting to see how it goes when you have to compete, says Louise Hansson.

The 26-year-old has previously said that she prefers to compete in shape and also comes from an autumn with a lot of competitions.

However, this spring's arrangement will differ somewhat from previous years.

- I would say that this spring there will be less focus on competitions.

Since I competed a lot in the fall, I get to add more competition blocks in the spring.

"Want to avoid that fourth place"

Apart from this weekend's competition, there is possibly a competition in March and then WC selection in Stockholm April 13-16.

- The competition in March is 50/50 if I go.

I'll see how it feels this weekend.

If I get a good response, I might forgo it and just run the WC qualifier.

In that case I get 6-7 weeks of just training.

Hansson won three individual medals at the Short Track World Championships in Melbourne in December.

In July, the WC in long track awaits in Fukuoka, Japan, which is the big goal of the season.

- I had a bit of pole position at the WC last year with fourth places.

But of course my expectations are to be there and fight for the medals.

I want to avoid that fourth place this summer.

The individual focus will be on the 100 meter butterfly, but she is open to other distances to keep her body moving before the team races in the WC.

- The 100 meter butterfly is the first day, so I may run something else to keep my body going.
