French biathlete Émilien Jacquelin has announced that he is ending his season prematurely.

A week after the world title won with the men's relay, in Oberhof (Germany), the Frenchman will no longer compete in any race of the season.

"While there are still three World Cup events to go, Emilien, currently 10th in the provisional general classification dominated by Johannes Boe, no longer considers himself able to practice his sport as he wishes, i.e. at the highest level and able to play titles", indicates a press release from his communication agency.
