A former colleague of the Egyptian star, Mohamed Salah, revealed a situation in which the Liverpool player was currently crying during his defense of Chelsea colors during the reign of Portuguese coach Jose Mourinho, and the Belgian Eden Hazard, the Real Madrid player, described him as the worst player he had teamed up with during his career.

Mohamed Salah defended the colors of Chelsea for two and a half seasons, after he joined him from Swiss Basel in January 2014, without being able to reserve a fixed place for him in the squad, to go out on loan to Italian Fiorentina.

During his time with Chelsea, Salah suffered from Mourinho excluding him in most matches, and it came to him to reprimand him sharply during one of the matches, so that the Egyptian star entered into a crying fit, according to his colleague at the time, John Obi Mikel.

Mikel, who played for Chelsea between 2006 and 2017, said - in an interview with Dubai Eye - “After the end of the first half of a Chelsea match against Norwich City, Mourinho entered the dressing room and sharply reprimanded Mohamed Salah and demanded that he not return to the field in the half. the second".

He added, "Salah was strongly affected by the situation and cried, and the situation caused the players to sympathize with him."

Hazard Axel is a player

In the same interview, Mikel spoke about his former colleague at Chelsea also, the Belgian Eden Hazard, stressing that he was Axel, a player who accompanied him throughout his football career.

The Nigerian player said that Hazard was not committed to training and was very lazy, but despite that he was shining in the matches, and in many of them he won the best player award.

He continued, "Hazard did not need to train at the highest level to be the best in the team during the matches."

Mourinho made Salah cry 😢 boo fucking hoo!

Hindsight is such a wonderful thing!!

At the time Mohamed Salah played for Chelsea he was a complete lightweight!

The fans booed him on more than one occasion!

Selling him also was seen as the right move as we had Hazard and Mata #CFC pic.twitter.com/DJr3AoHsci

He continued, "He didn't have a good diet. The night before the match after dinner, he would sit there for 20 minutes or half an hour and eat rice pudding."

The Nigerian player did not question Hazard's quality, but stressed that he would have been much better if he had put more effort into training to improve his level.

Mikel alluded to the negative role of Mourinho in dealing with former Chelsea stars who became stars with other clubs later after their departure, and said: “When I look at players like Kevin De Bruyne and Mohamed Salah and how they are now among the best players in the world, I am amazed. They have become Physically stronger and faster... I don't know what happened to them!"
