Biathlon has had several dominants both on the women's and men's side over the years.

But no one is better than the Norwegian dominant Johannes Thingnes Bö, who won the last distance from which he missed a WC gold.

- I have never seen anyone like him, says Pichler.

Is he the best ever?

- Yes, he is better than Ole Einar Björndalen and better than Martin Fourcade.

He is the best ever.

Has won almost every race this year.

During the World Cup this year, Bö has finished outside the top ten once and the other two times he did not win, he came third.

- Magdalena Forsberg still holds the record with 14 wins in a season but he will break that (right now eleven individual wins).

- Today he is almost two minutes ahead of the runner-up in skating.

It gives him a certainty in the shooting.

If you know that you will win when you shoot one or two booms, you shoot much safer.

Dangerous for the sport

Pichler also believes that the Norwegian dominance on the men's side is dangerous for the sport.

In the sprint last week, the top four were from Norway.

- I have to say that I am a little disappointed that Norway is so superior.

They always have 5-6 riders in the top ten.

It's a bit dangerous for the sport.

The responsibility for the dominance to be reduced lies with the other nations, says the former national team coach.

- We in Sweden have to work better, it is not Norway's fault.

Without the fault of all other countries.

We need better coaches on the junior side to bring up more skaters.

Now it's almost like in cross-country skiing where there are eight Norwegians in the top ten.
